Light Management Solutions

Based on the success of Perspex®, Lucite International has developed an enhanced material with superior lighting capabilities. Called Lucite® Light Management Solutions (LMS), this new range of products is being used in a variety of exciting applications, which include new state-of-the-art advertising media and directional signage across the world's transport systems.

LMS is used to create ultra slim profile light box type structures, which are suitable for many more applications and enable the advertisement to be lit during the hours of darkness. The acrylic sheet with its patented surface finish is edge lit allowing light to bounce across the surface to produce brilliant, even illumination without the banding effect that occurs in conventional back-lit units. This design means that LMS units are more energy efficient and therefore more cost effective.

Properties such as light transmission, surface hardness, excellent weathering performance, easy shape and formability, and high tensile strength mean Perspex is also ideal for use in a wide range of architectural and industrial applications; from retail, point of sale, displays and acoustic screening through to glazing, decorative light panels for interiors and in general fabrication.
